(i) legislation on the organization of social security schemes; (vi) special social security schemes, in so far as they concern insurance or benefits covered by the legislation referred to in the preceding paragraphs, in particular the social security scheme in mines. 4. The Convention shall apply to laws, regulations or regulations amending the legislation relating to the implementation of a social security reciprocity agreement referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article only if the Parties so decide. If, in accordance with the legislation of the other Party, a national of a Party who has received an occupational sickness benefit under the legislation of a Contracting Party claims a benefit in respect of an occupational disease of the same kind, the social security authority of the latter Party shall be responsible for providing proof of the benefit previously paid for the same disease; and treats this benefit as if it had been granted under its own legislation. 2. Any right acquired by a person in accordance with the provisions of the agreements and protocols referred to in paragraph 1 shall be preserved and all rights arising from the acquisition of such agreements on the date of entry into force of this Convention shall be governed by the Convention and the Protocols annexed thereto. 1. If a national of a Contracting Party is entitled to a pension under the legislation of both Parties pursuant to Article 22 of this Agreement, he shall be entitled to medical benefits under French legislation during his residence in French territory, in respect of sickness and maternity benefit and the costs of such benefit, are covered by the competent French social security authority. The costs of repatriating a sick person to Jersey (repatriation) are never covered by one of the health agreements. You still have to pay for it yourself, so check that your insurance covers this.
